Terms of use
Last updated November 2026
These terms cover your use of Hawko. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@hawko.co.uk.
Who it's for
Hawko is a tool for businesses. By signing up you confirm you're using it for your business, trade or profession, not as a private consumer.
The service
Hawko uses AI to plan and write social media posts from the details you give it. It does not publish anything for you. AI can make mistakes, so please read every post before you use it. You're responsible for what you publish, including making sure any offers, prices and claims are accurate and follow the rules of each platform and UK advertising standards.
Free posts and paid plan
New accounts get 10 free posts. After that, the paid plan costs £15 a month (including any VAT that applies), billed monthly in advance by our payment provider, Stripe. The paid plan includes up to 400 posts a month under fair use. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Because the service starts as soon as you subscribe, we don't normally give refunds for part-months, but if something has gone wrong please get in touch.
Your content
The details you enter and the posts written for you are yours to use however you like. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you.
Fair use
Please don't use Hawko to create anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights, or try to get around usage limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Hawko running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our liability where the law doesn't allow it. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
